

Communities need to prepare for the biggest and sudden change in
human history.
This course looks at the world situation from a range of angles - peak oil, energy, transport, economics, politics, agriculture and spirituality. From that common understanding, a new vision will be developed for the future and how to begin making change in communities.
As a case study, the way that Cuba coped with its oil crisis after the fall of the Soviet Union when over half of its oil imports were withdrawn in 1990 and how it survived.
To take action now is not a matter of choice. It is an imperative.
But while the challenge is immediate, fear should not be the driver.
The aim of this course is for everyone to have the knowledge and tools to also become facilitators and to help start making these changes in their own communities.
You can't pick up a newspaper with out something about climate change. Like flipping between realities, we slip back from that sense that we must act and just carry on as before.
