Turning, Reconnecting & Transitioning

Next Course 27-29th June 2008

These woodland courses build on Joanna Macy’s Work that Reconnects. It will take us through an important process to connect us with the soul of the world and what is happening to it. To help us love the world rather than fear the end of the world. Strenghten us to be able to face the situation in the world; not only of the Great Turning that is happening but also to be able to cope with the twists and turns of the Great Unravelling.

Taking place in Sussex woodland near Lewes, it includes storytelling, fire making, a sweat lodge, plus good food and company and surroundings to help us to a deepening of our relationship with nature, ourselves and each other.

The Weekend Intention
The purpose of the weekend is to help us get more in touch with ourselves and the land around us. To find ways to weave civilised culture and wild Nature into the fabric of the future.

As well as creating a place and space to fully experience being in the countryside, we will work though a number of group exercises to help us to face our collective situation and gain more strength and courage to go forward. Please note that while the work will be therapeutic it is not therapy.

Our intention is to be close to nature and we will work with minimal supplies and facilities, but it is not an endurance test! For example delicious vegetarian and vegan food will be provided! If you feel that you need some extra comforts such as an extra blanket, a hot water bottle or camping chair then please bring them with you.

The weekends are facilitated by:
