This site will bring news, observations and reflections on the changing world that we live in. In reality, there is only NOW. This one moment is all there is and the words you read a moment ago are already in the past.

The start 21st century is a time of consequences that we are about to reap from the way we have lived in the previous century. For example we live as though the cheap energy that underlies our western lifestyle is unlimited and that consumption has no consequences. Neither are true and the pollution all over the planet, the exhaustion of resources and Climate Change are evidence that time is running out for us in this way of life. Add into the equation the fast approaching gap between demand for cheap energy and the ability to extract, refine and deliver it, otherwise known as Peak Oil and we it is clear that we need to have a whole culture shift of our approach to how we consume energy.

But if we also look at the economic imbalances in the world with for example two billion people living on less that $2 a day, the way that global institutions ensure that the poor stay poor, the shift of manufacturing to the places where labour is cheapest, and so on, and on, one could conclude that this is not a system that can continue for much longer.

From a spiritual perspective, there are predictions from most traditions that the world is approaching a time of transformation. Likewise many different seers have similar insights that a change in our consciousness is happening.
